Life in Ancient Greece was quite different for both women and men. Women were expected to lead a private life as wives and mothers. Their lives were centred on housework. The wealthy people would buy slaves to carry out household chores, to go shopping at the market, and even to help bring up children. Lots of information we learned about daily life comes from pottery, and in particular from the scenes painted on pots to decorate them.
Their leaders were monarch's, representatives, oligarchs, or dictators. It depends what time period you are talking about.
There was lower class and there was higher class. Lower class was usually slaves and immigrants. They were treated poorly and they had to serve the richer (higher classes). The higher class were usually members of government(men that were free, Greek citizens), and they had slaves (lower class) to serve them.
